...you guess what I've been doing?

It's that time of the year again! I am so excited that I was able to can this year. I missed the last two canning seasons, so it has really been fun to get back into it. So far it has been peaches and pears. Next comes the homemade applesauce and pickled cucumbers.

To the Oregon State Fair...

...we go! I can remember going to the Oregon State Fair since I was a little kid. I even worked there for 3 summers. Saturday we took Jarekah along with my parents, sister, brother in-law, and niece. What a fun time we had. We were worried about the rain, but decided that if we were to let a little rain spoil our fun that we would never go anywhere! (Let's face it, it is Oregon!)

We had some very yummy food including elephant ears, scones, and funnel cake. We took Jarekah over to the rides and she wanted to get on some. We were shocked. She is our little dare devil, that's for sure! We were able to see a sea lion show, a magic show, and of course we went to see the animals. There were the cutest little piglets! These are what memories are made of!

Chuck E Cheese's...

...where a kid can be a kid! We celebrated Jarekah's two year birthday on Saturday. Since Jarekah loves Chuck E Cheese, we decided to just have it there. Unoriginal, but she loved it!

This was taken at the end of the night...she was exhausted from having so much fun!
